THE ROLE
The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for how SMPLE Media Ltd comes to life across all owned channels and how it communicates with potential collaborators. This role requires a creative storyteller with a talent for multi-tasking and an interest in social media, content management, lead generation and digital networking. The role will be an integral part of the company’s brand team (content x marketing); You will work with and report directly to SMPLE’s founders.
INITIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for assisting in the strategic planning and execution of our content across all channels, working closely with our editorial ( + social media) teams and communicating with potential collaborators, sponsors and advertisers -- all to support growing global brand awareness.

Assisting with developing and delivering to the brand and business objectives
Coordinate well with our team, including copywriters and social media coordinators
Support development of creative concepts, outreach strategies and other relevant elements
Content management: help with production, manage the roll-out of priority brand content series and assist in the overall implementation of social media and content strategy
Work to deliver a seamless journey across all audience touchpoints
Assist in content production strategy for social media and brand-focused campaigns
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Vancouver, BC, Canada based
Must have extensive knowledge of all social media platforms (creative agency or editorial brand experience a plus)
Strong copywriting and/or visual design abilities
Experience with Adobe creative suite is a plus
Demonstrated digital strategic planning skills
Proven track record of executing campaigns across multiple channels
Ability to analyze data, summarize stories, and insights for media, websites, and social engagement
Independent and well organized with solid project management skills, with high attention to detail
Ability to learn, adapt and make quick decisions.
